ATH1281 (b. 1983)

ATH1281 holds a masters in visual arts from Camberwell College of Arts but is mainly a self-taught artist developing his visual artistic language through the years. Although a strong presence in the streets of Athens, his graffiti is subtle, blending in with its surroundings and often requires a trained eye to spot it. His characters are like caricatures who have jumped out of a comic book. Although we only see a single often quotidian scene each time, this glimpse is enough to reveal a whole story.
